SOLUTIONS

Healthcare is a Human Right

• Every Idahoan gets coverage, no matter your job, income, age or pre-existing condition.

• Keep rural hospitals and clinics open by stabalizing funding and reducing uncompensated care.

• Lower costs for families and small businesses by cutting administrative waste and negotiating fair prices.

• End medical debt so a health crisis doesn’t become a financial crisis.

• Freedom to choose your doctor since coverage follows you, not your employer.

• Simpler, one-card coverage that replaces confusing networks, surprise bills, and constant paperwork.

• Idaho-focused outcomes: better access in rural communities, more predictable costs, and care you can actually use.

Labor Unions and Worker Protections

• Proudly pro-union because Idaho workers deserve a real voice on the job.

• Support the PRO Act to strengthen the right to organize and bargain collectively.

• Stop union-busting and hold employers accountable when they retaliate against workers.

• Protect the freedom to join together for better pay, safer workplaces, and fair schedules.

• Raise wages and standards so working families can afford housing, healthcare, and groceries.

• Back strong workplace safety rules and real enforcement, not just promises.

• Regulate AI and automation, labor unions play a critical role in defining the role of AI in the workplace.

• Respect Idaho’s working traditions from trades to teachers to service providers, because our economy runs on their labor.

Congressional Reforms

• Ban congressional stock trading – no member of Congress should profit from inside information.

• End Citizens United – get big money out of politics and put Idaho voters back in charge.

• Congressional term limits – reduce career-politician incentives and bring in new, grounded leadership.

• Uncap the U.S. House – expand representation so Idahoans (and all Americans) have a stronger voice and a more accountable government closer to the people they represent.

• Stronger lobbying “cooling-off” period – stop the revolving door by requiring members and senior staff to wait longer before becoming paid lobbyists.

• Real transparency and enforcement – clear rules, public reporting, and meaningful penalties when officials break the law.

Keep Public Lands in Public Hands

• Public lands belong to the public – Idaho’s lands stay in public hands, not sold of to the highest bidder.

• Oppose privatization and land grabs that would lock Idahoans out and raise costs for access.

• Protect access for hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping – our outdoor way of life is part of who we are and I want future generations to be able to enjoy the Idaho wilderness as much as I did growing up.

• Support responsible stewardship so forests, watersheds, and wildlife habitat stay healthy for the next generation.  This includes more funding for Forest Service and other BLM staff.

• Stand with rural communities that depend on public lands for jobs, tourism, and rebalance the PILT (Payment in Lieu of Taxes) formula so that counties with large tracts of public lands are properly funded.

• Balance use and conservation with practical, Idaho-centered management – not one-size-fits-all mandates.
