Restore the Protections of Roe vs. Wade

I believe that women and their doctors should be the only ones involved in such a deeply personal decisions such as abortion, rather than the government. The far right may advocate for small government in rhetoric, but their actions tell a different story; they aim to implement Idaho’s draconian abortion ban on a national scale. When elected, I will vote to restore Roe v. Wade, ensuring that bodily autonomy is once again recognized and protected for all women. Ultimately, this is about respecting individual rights and personal choices, and I stand firmly in support of that vision.

Protect the Rights of the LGBTQQ+ Community

Having grown up in a culture that lacked acceptance for my identity, I understand how isolating and painful it can be to feel marginalized. No one should ever endure this experience. While I take pride in my support for the LGBT community, I am deeply troubled by the relentless campaign against transgender individuals, which strips them of their rights and their ability to embrace their own identities. It is crucial that we cultivate a culture of acceptance and inclusion, where everyone can express themselves freely without the fear of discrimination. By promoting understanding and compassion, we can work toward a society that honors every individual for who they are.

Building an Opportunity Economy

Small businesses are the backbone of our economy; however, the current system often favors large corporations, giving them an unfair competitive advantage. To create a more equitable economic landscape, we must shift our focus to support mom-and-pop businesses by offering favorable tax incentives and improving access to small business loans. In doing so, we can empower local entrepreneurs and foster community growth, ensuring that our economy works for everyone. By investing in our small businesses, we not only strengthen our economy but also build resilient communities that thrive together.

Protecting the Environment

We are experiencing global changes in our environment.  Even my opponent agrees that global warming is happening, he just does not want to do anything about it.  I believe that we need to strengthen our protections for the environment and focus on research for new greener technologies.
